About Us​

We adopted four elements to define the purpose of our collective efforts as members of the Windsor Model Railroad Club.

1. Raise Awareness Of Our Club: Raise awareness of our
   organization to recruit new members and secure support from the community our members are part of, Essex County, including but not limited to Windsor, Essex, Amherstburg, Tecumseh, Leamington, Harrow, and Kingsville.
2. Create a Sense of Community: In this Digital age, our members extend beyond clubhouse meetings and gatherings. To that end, the club needs a central hub to communicate that sense of community to our members, future members, and the communities that we all live within. The message should include both physical and virtual club memberships.
3. Educating Our Membership: We can empower our members through inspiring education on prototypical and general model railroading in many engaging and exciting ways, including ad hoc one-on-one, hands-on workshops, informative presentations, online training courses, and interactive discussions through posts.
4. Stay Informed, Stay Engaged. We must keep our membership informed about all things club-related. From events and activities to our latest accomplishments, we must ensure our members are always up to date for ongoing purposes.
